FOR VOICE PROFESSIONALS
La Voce
For everyone who works with their voice, the voice itself is an irreplaceable tool of the trade. Yet most people only have a vague sense of how that tool is doing.
Currently in an experimental free-trial period — free to use for now.
Why This App Was Born
On a morning after shallow sleep, the voice feels heavy to start. Right before a live broadcast, the throat feels scratchy for no clear reason. On a day spent switching between several characters in a recording session, the fatigue somehow doesn't lift by the next day. How the day before goes changes how the voice sounds entirely the next day — anyone who works with their voice knows this from experience, whatever their profession. But there's a real gap between "knowing from experience" and "having it on record." Just as athletes track their condition and training in detail, shouldn't people who work with their voice also have a place to face the tool that is their own body? La Voce was born from that question. Sleep, hydration, meals and their timing, the day's weather, and the condition of the voice itself. Once these scattered impressions are connected into a single record, patterns that are truly your own start to come into view for the first time.
